Nomadic

In April 1912, fashionable passengers on Titanic's maiden voyage were ferried out from Cherbourg on a beautifully appointed tender, Nomadic.

For the last twenty years or so, Nomadic was rusting away as a restaurant boat, moored on the Seine by the Eiffel Tower, and was just about to be scrapped when someone realized that Nomadic was the last surviving ship of the White Star Line.
